As an Artist, something that is regularly considered is the number three. When drawing or painting a picture, where multiple objects are taking part, I do not want the viewers' eye to bounce back and forth. Instead, I constantly want your eyes to be moving to observe the craftsmanship fully. It is a desire of any Artist to want their creation whole and balanced! Having more than two objective pieces, will have your gaze consistently moving around the artwork and have you captivate the entire masterpiece!

I am a HUGE beach lover! My imagination soars the high seas with tales of pirates, mermaids, and any adventure my mind can create. In this drawing, my hope was to capture the beginning of a sea life journey setting sail! This quick black & white pencil drawing is complete with shadows and details on white sketchbook paper.
