MegaCon 2024

If you have never heard of MegaCon you are missing out! What an experience! MegaCon is a large convention here in Orlando catering to comic books, anime, sci-fi, fantasy, gaming, and so much more. FOUR days of fun, seeing and being surrounded by so much of what I'm passionate & nerdy about! It speaks to my creativity as well, as an Artist.

At the start of February, I met Butch Hartman at MegaCon! Never imagined, as I sat on my couch watching Nickelodeon as a kid, I get to meet the creator of Danny Phantom and The Fairly Odd Parents. He autographed my old GameCube game that has the characters of Danny Phantom & Timmy Turner in the gameplay and got a photo together. Enjoyed talking about The Chosen and what a gift to pray together before saying our goodbyes.

I loved these shows, characters, & stories that he has created. I probably sound like a broken record but words are hard to express the depth of how much it is cherished. They've inspired me as an Artist. But it is even more amazing being able to watch his Artist journey and how its grown.

Was very cool, that I was able to give him a drawing of mine (see below). I love that he is vocal about his faith and shares it in his work. I hope to be able to do the same one day; telling stories with my art that can plant a seed, share opportunities or bring others closer to the Ultimate Creator Jesus Christ.
